August 16th -18th, Washougal MX Park will be once again hosting the 6th Annual NW Challenge.
Keeping with our charitable roots for our event, we are excited to announce that this year’s recipient of our proceeds will be the Sarah Bellum’s Bakery & Workshop, a 501c charity.
Located in Multnomah Village (SW Portland between Portland and Beaverton) Sarah Bellum’s is a social enterprise bakery that supports adults with brain injury to return to work and life by baking delicious, hand crafted cupcakes. Our co-founder, Brian Barnes, has been busy working at the bakery as part of his ongoing rehabilitation after a stroke that he suffered back in 2017.
Saturday we will be running our own “NW Challenge” race schedule with slightly modified race classes. (see details on the Saturday schedule for all of the classes you can ride!
We will also include some “Special Motos” for Saturday including:
Sunday will be round # of the Pacific Northwest Vintage Motocross Series.
The City of Washougal has once again stepped up HUGE for us and our Saturday evening BBQ will be back with the great food and service from KM Drive In.
This year we are asking those with European bikes to bring an easy, small appetizer and those riding one of the big four ( Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki & Kawasaki) to bring a small dessert. Remember- keep it SMALL we don’t want to throw out food afterwards.
