NW Challenge VMX 2018

August 18 & 19, Washougal MX Park will be once again hosting the 5th Annual NW Challenge. In March of this year our good friend and fellow competitor Jan Babenderede ( Jan B.) was involved in an accident at a vintage race in Eastern Washington. Jan suffered a spinal injury and was flown from the track the closest hospital that would be able to help him with this serious injury. We knew shortly after Jans accident that we wanted to help and decided that all proceeds from the 2018 NW Challenge will go to Jan and Kris to help offset the extensive life changing adjustment and care costs that they have been hit with over the past few months.

Since this event is part of the Pacific Northwest Vintage Motocross (PNWVMX) series and the club is a 501C non-profit, we will be able to provide our cash and in-kind gift supporters with receipts for tax purposes from the PNWVMX, a 501c non-profit.

We will once again be selling raffle tickets for a fully restored vintage bike that will be given away Saturday the 18th during the NW Challenge. All proceeds from the ticket sales of the 1981 490 MAICO will also be going to Jan B. You won’t need to be present to win. Get your tickets at any of the upcoming PNWVMX events, or at the NW Challenge.
